Why can't I find the hidden chest in Dawnstar?

I've watched the videos on YouTube and I'm following the steps but I still can't find the chest. The khajit caravan is there also.

Do you have the Unofficial Skyrim Patch? It removes certain exploits such as this one, I believe.

If you're going to cheat, why not take a more direct route - such as simply giving yourself gold...?

Mabe the OP is like me. Willing to do that for a fun playthrough, but unwilling to do so for any yt LPs.
