veezara and the "eliminate the dark brotherhood" quest
if i were to change veezara's faction and make him my ally, would i still need to kill him in order to complete the quest?

Far as I know it wouldn't matter, he's still one of the targets that must be killed. I wouldn't recommend resurrecting him after, either - both are likely to leave him with screwy ai at best, and could cause other bugs in the game.

oh wait, apparently, if you use player.placeatme it spawns a duplicate, so i think im good. thanks though!

Again, for much the same reasons, I would not recommend that. At best the clone will not have anywhere to go and will go and get itself killed somewhere. At worst it could seriously bork your game as the game tries to figure out what to do with this NPC who should be dead.

well, ive made him a follower, (along with vasha) so if the game borks then i can just revert to an earlier save

I think that should be okay, as the quest is done - there's no references to reference.
