Why don't any merchants have enough gold for me to sell my useless items
My inventory is full of useless junk I need to sell, but for some reason, no one has the gold to buy any of it. I at least want to sell my three sets of enchanted daedric armor.

Because they're just nornal people running businesses, not super wealthy CEOs who have money to buy daedric armor that nobody else can afford.

Instead of just outright selling, trade it for high-value things they have that you like. Since I do a lot of smithing and enchanting I'll buy up any grand soul gems and ebony ingots and things like that to build their cash to the point that I can sell the high-coin items.

Also, of course, if you build your speech up far enough you can get the perk to invest gold in a shop and then they'll always have more gold on hand for sales.

Usually after you complete the Thieves Guild quest line, you can sell off most of your gear in Riften. Between the town vendors and the underground vendors there is enough gold to clear most of your inventory,
I got a mod off the Nexus called Infinite Gold For Merchants. There's two versions, one that gives merchants 10,000 gold, and one that gives them 20,000. The latter had more downloads, so I went with that one.

Plus, once you have one suit of enchanted Daedric armor, who needs a second?

I use a 10k version of a similiar mod to avoid any problems with the vendor going over the 32767 limit.

I'm still trying to figure out what this "selling" thing is.....can someone help me? I'd like to comiserate with ya'll.
1. Don't enchant Daedric Armor. It will be worth 20k+ and nobody will buy it
2. You can use mods to raise NPCs money
3. Open console, click on the NPC and type in additem 0000000f 35000 it will give them 35k gold for you to sell stuff for
4. Store useless junk in a chest at home

You don't need the zeroes, if it's a vanilla, basegame item (starts with 00) then you can just type whatever comes after all the 0s. So, in this case, "f". Otherwise, yeah, I don't bother selling or keeping useless crap, and I don't expect Belethor to want to buy/have enough to buy insanely powerful magical artefacts.

I know that you don't need zeroes, but I do it anyway :P
You don't bother selling or keeping ueless crap? So you'll just hide it in the chest? That's keeping.
Just throw it off in Nazeem's home

Nope, I don't pick it up in the first place. Which isn't to say I don't hoard tons of potentially-useful crap that I never actually use, mind you...

Through over 800 hours of me playing Skyrim, I basically never used any potion other than Restore Health, Stamina and Magicka. And I tend to use those only when I am in dire need, health is now, and I have no mana to heal and no stamina to run. Even though resist potions would be so useful sometimes...
Potions give loadsofmoney, which I am too greedy to spend, anyway xD
