[HELP] Blood's Honor Quest won't start?
Hi, I went and finished the quests for every guild except the Companions, because I forgot to continue them. The last quest I finished was stealing plans for Aela. Now, I don't remember if she told me to go talk to Kodlak or not, but now, after many hours of doing other quests, Blood's Honor won't start. Aela has absolutely no dialogue options when talking to her (she can't train archery at my level), and Kodlak does not tell me anything related to starting the next quest.

If anyone knows how this might be fixable, I would appreciate it.

EDIT: I can't return to a previous save to fix this, because after I did Stealing Plans, I went and did the entire DB questline.

EDIT 2: I tried reverting to the latest save after I retrieved the Silver Hand Strategem for the quest, then returned to Aela again. Same thing happened: she still does not have any dialogue options and Kodlak won't tell me anything.

What are the last 2 companions quest in the completed section of your quest log? What is the current companions quest in your log?

Thanks for replying! The last 2 companions quest in the quest log are called "Striking the Heart" and "Stealing Plans". Both have the "Return to Aela" objective completed. These quests were done after the quest "The Silver Hand".

As for current companions quests, there are none. There are only:
-The seemingly infinite post-DB quest called "The Dark Brotherhood Forever"
-Deliver 20 Jazbay Grapes to Avrusa Sarethi
-Talk to Tullius or Rikke to join the Imperial Legion
-Talk to the Jarl of Windhelm or his second in command to join the Stormcloaks

Wanted to make sure of what quests have finished correctly before trying this set of commands,

~
startquest c04 <enter>
setstage c04 10 <enter>
~

That should get the quests going for you again.

It doesn't seem to work. I remember before I tried using setstage to fix this, but it didn't work either.

Odd, put this command in, is there anything about c04?

sqt <enter>

Nope. Under every "Current quest" is CW00B, CW00A and DBrecurring.

Use sqt again, do any of the quests show a location of GlenmorilCoven01 or GlenmorilCovenExterior

No, can't see anything like that

You may have this bug;

"After finishing the two radiant quests for Aela, Blood's Honor may not show up, as Aela won't initiate the quest. This may be caused by a conflicting radiant quest which is already active at Glenmoril Coven. Attempt to complete the radiant quest as early as possible and it should function as normal.

PC Only This bug is fixed by version 1.3.0 of the Unofficial Skyrim Patch."
From http://uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Blood%27s_Honor

You can try installing the patches, but with the bug already present, it may not fix it. If the commands we tried do not kickstart the quest then I do not how to do it.

I never actually discovered Glenmoril Coven. I have the Unofficial Patch installed too :(

Only other thing I can think of is to open the console and click on Aela with your mouse. Then type in

disable <enter>
enable <enter>

exit the console. See if you can start the quest normally. If not try the startquest - setstage sequence we tried earlier.

Absolutely the last thing I got,

resetquest c04 <enter>
setstage c04 10 <enter>
setstage c04 20 <enter>
setstage c04 30 <enter>
setstage c04 200 <enter>

And just to double check, you are using c<zero>4?

A disabled and re-enabled Aela still did not have any dialogue options. The other methods didn't work either. I'm using c04, yeah.

Also, when I said "It doesn't seem to work", I meant no new quests showed up. Same with the resetquest method.

Welp, I guess you don't have anything left. Thanks for trying :)
