TCL not working?
does anyone know why? I need to find a item that a npc dropped and it eems to of slipped through the deck of the boat, he was impossible to pickpocket :(

I solved the problem of getting the item, but TCL still doesn't work, why?

Don't have anything targeted in the console like yourself

nope, nothing was targeted at all, I turned my avatar away from the npc and made sure of that. I used tab to open consol and typed in tcl. it used to work but not any longer.

Now I find that I need to get into the priests house in Whiterun and it's impossible because it was badly damaged during the battle for Whiterun. The last time TCL solved it this time it loos like I have to tell them that I can't do it grrrrrrr

Try to save, quit the game and reload. TCL can return then.

You sure there is no number showing on your screen when you type the command? You can't have any number (ref id) showing.

You are correct Rider there was a number showing, I cleared it and then it worked for me. But even after getting tcl to work the damage to his house prevents me from getting the ornate drinking horn so this one will be a fail, damn it! grrrrr The house is just full of earth and rubble! :(

Try leaving Whiterun for a few days. I found that doing this removed the barriers to the various houses and the only part still affected was the broken fence around the Guildergreen tree.

Done that already, I didn't go there for a long time while doing the DawnGuard quests? Still it's too late now I have a fail, Vex was not pleased lol
