Are there any stylish clothes mods?
I just want clothes that dont look dull and generic.

Thanks.

There are some nice ones on here https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/2qqnuc/ It's aimed more at female characters, but several include male versions, too, if you're looking for that. I like Common Clothes, there's some fairly ugly stuff in that mod, but also a few really nice kinda bard/dashing swordsperson looking outfits, generally they tend to be quite dark, though.

I also like Common Clothes, as well as Travel Clothes. If your character is female, try Eldrid's Armor Mashup and Northgirl. None of those are too skimpy and with the exception of Eldrid's, all look warm enough for Skyrim.

Here's a screenshot of Common Clothes (on the male elf) and Travel Clothes (on the female elf).

Can I ask you guys something? Why is every mod for female!
Rider Sep 5, 2015 @ 6:20am
LOL, because lots of guys play as females so they can look at the female body, of course. (I am female and only play as female, myself.)

So, is your character male?

Probably my favourite - rather flamboyant - clothing mod (can also be made as armour but it's kind of ridiculously high stats considering it can be made for a few pieces of leather with no perks IIRC) is DreamBurrows Regal Assassin. Very pretty, several colour options, works on male and female characters.

And, yeah, most people who want to play dressup seem to want to dress up girl barbies, not ken dolls, for whatever reason. Me, I tend to play women/she-elves/etc, but I've often got at least one chap among my various followers who I like to dress up prettily (generally Rumarin, as he suits the flamboyant stuff like DreamBurrows...)

I keep a stable full of male followers, lol, but I use the vanilla armors and just use re-texes. My followers are mostly mods I've made myself or vanillas I've re-worked, like Faendal in the screenshots above.

I don't really know of any good male clothing.

Hey this Regal Assassin Armor looks really good. Thanks, Gnewna, for feeding my addiction to add mods...

Hehe, any time! It's also quite high value, so most followers will equip it for preference over other clothes in their inventory (just made Vilja a very pretty dress, but she won't wear the dratted thing because it's cheaper than her default frocks.)

Do you ever go shopping? No? Then you've got yourself your answer...

Yes, and it is extremely hard to find a good armor mod. (though I do have a few)
Rider Sep 5, 2015 @ 7:58am
Well, I agree with you there. Regal Huntsman is good and I can vouch for the Regal Assassin which I just installed and tested. Shopping the mods on Nexus can be frustrating because there are thousands of mods and most are just crap. There is Immersive Armors and Omegared99's Gallery of Armor but they are huge files and you might only like one or two of the armors. I've tried both, but don't use them any more because I was trying to reduce the number of large mods I have. That's why I use re-texes of the vanilla armors. Perhaps more people will post and give you ideas. Check out the most popular mod authors, Cabal, ZZJay and Omegared99 are three of them. Cabal does some good re-texes.

Okay, few suggestions from my MO list:

Iron Armour with Sleeves http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/22684/? For some reason I vastly prefer the iron armour with this mod, which just adds a pair of chainmail-looking sleeves. It's just a mesh/texture mod, no .esp - there's another for Banded Iron Armour with Sleeves (also on the Nexus) which I like a lot as well. Unfortunately the Steel Armour with Sleeves mod, for some reason, completely borks the arms (more so on female characters IIRC) making them look like flattened/bent straws, so I don't advise that. If you use this and a retexture for the iron/banded iron armour, then with MO just move the retexture lower down the left pane, with NMM you'll need to re-install your chosen retexture over the top. Looks great with aMidianBorn's retexture.

Perfect Legionairre http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/6085/? I'm currently playing an Imperial soldier who started off with a set of the light armour, which is now actually suitable for Skyrim's climate and doesn't look goofy like in vanilla, what with having, you know, SLEEVES and LEGS. She's recently re-enlisted and is now sporting the Studded Imperial Armour which I think looks fantastic, and I'm quite envious of Legate Rikke's armour.

Have installed these but haven't actually checked them out yet:

Yharnyam Set http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/65144/? not super lore-friendly, but I'd say not glaringly out of place, either, in that it kinda looks like plausible materials in an unusual design?

Garrett Thief Armour - I believe this is styled after the armour from the earlier Thief games, but isn't a direct port, and it seems to fit in pretty well http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/45509/? Perhaps a tiny bit rough around the edges, but overall, pretty good looking. (Males only).

Mattys Mithril http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/19655/? Really nice, kind of knightly armour, available for male and female characters.

Colovian Leather http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/30918/? Unfortunately this modder really likes atmospheric rather than useful pictures, no really clear full body shots of this armour, but it looks promising.

TeaMistress does a lot of good lists of various types of mods, mainly homes and clothing/armours, well worth a look: https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/34a2v2/the_quick_or_the_dead_a_list_of_light_armors_for/

Oh--AmidianBorn! I forgot him. I use his stuff.
Now I have to check out all those mods. I have a terrible addiction. I'm hopeless.

Man, I have a badass wood elf female character that's got broad shoulders and a strong back, she's built like a brick ♥♥♥♥ house and has a mowhawk. I just want female armor mods that make less sexualised clothes and have actual style. And by less sexualised I mean not at all.
Like the ESO Noble suit & Wedding suit.
Like trousers and a jacket.
Not short skirt and maybe a covering bra with some shoulder pads.
