Skyrim: Anton Virane Glitch
Hey people, I just wanted ask does the glitch where when your doing the Dark Brotherhood Questline to kill Anton Virane where you can keep intimidating Anton Virane to get your speech up still work?

*By the way I'm only asking this cause I'm playing Skyrim on the ps3 and I want to get my speech to level 100,btw I play skyrim on the pc but decided to enjoy the unmodded version.*

Please don't tell me to go to Ungrien in riften and keep persuading him cause that was patch in 1.09, I'm saying this for people that don't know that.

It might have been covered in the Unoffical Patches.

Are you a PC player cause PC players aren't really concerned with glitches/Bugs cause they mod their skyrim xD

UESP for the quest says it's been fixed by the USKP, which I imagine means it's still unfixed in the latest version of the vanilla game.

This is for console too right? but im guessing this applies to all platforms

Yes, my understanding is that the fully updated (officially patched) game should have the same bugs fixed (and the same unfixed) on all platforms.

Does anyone else have an idea if this was patched? cause I don't want to do the questline if the glitch is patched it would be a waste of time

No, they finished working on Skyrim I think two years ago. Certainly I bought it Nov the year before last and they had already finished by then.

Your best bet is to ask on a console specific Skyrim forum, or otherwise on Bethesda's forum, as there will be more people there who play on console (and most of the regulars here use the USKPs, probably also true of PC players on the Beth forum, but it's got a decent mix of PC and console players.
