Yes. She will. And I hate that. She's not a vampire lord anymore. Or even an ordinary vampire. She shouldn't get Vampiric Drain spell to use anymore. Game should have stripped that from her if cured. And another annoyance is that she's a vampire and only uses Ice spells. What? She's never had to fight another vampire in her entire existance, until she met you?
Have you not met the inhabitants of Castle Volkihar? They pretty much all hate each other, and that's the ones that live together...
Whenever I try a sneak attack I just ask Serana to wait.
Sneaking can be hard if you haven't put perks into the skill tree. But if your sneak is high and you have perks in it. and also of course if you are wearing armor your clanking noises make you very easy to spot.
Also learn to cast silent perk and cast muffle and invisibility to sneak past anybody
