SKSE launcher locking my resolution/graphics settings?
For some reason when i change my resolution/graphics settings through the main skyrim launcher then launch the game through the skse shortcut, it doesnt save at all. Right now its windowed 1360x768, i need to sometimes switch between 1600x900 windowed and 1360x768, but it keeps sticking as said resolution but stuck in the top left corner.

Maybe your skyrim.ini and skyrimpref.ini files are set to read-only, so launcher can't change them?

i cant find an exact "skyrim.ini" but skyrimpref.ini isnt set to read only.
Go to Documents -> My Games -> Skyrim and there should be two files there. One is called Skyrim.ini and the other one is SkyrimPrefs.ini
If you never changed them manually, just delete them and launch Skyrim Launcher. It should work

that worked though for some reason, i cant launch through mod loader, i had to go into my game's files and manually click the skse exe file. Odd..
*launching through mod loader kept the old settings

I think that's because Mod Manager saves his own files somewhere, and doesn't use the ones used by SKSE or Skyrim Launcher. No idea where they are located though

Go to the MO profile folder that matches the profile you're playing with and edit the ini there

Or MO has a button for editing the ini's.

I'm not in front of my computer, but it is in the upper left set of buttons.
