Steel Plate Helm Black Neck
I recently noticed that when the Steel Plate Helm is equipped, either on myself or an NPC, the neck turns black. Have tried installing new meshes and reskins but the neck always turns black no matter what when the helmet is equipped. Any thoughts?

Whenyou say black, do you mean shaded black or a true pure black?

It looks like pure black, unless i'm simply mistaken. Why?

Sorry to take so long to answer, it appears I posted too much today and they locked me out for a bit. The little I have found while researching this seems to point to your armor is for a different body replacer than you are using. For example, if you have a UNP body and use CBBE armor the neck can show as completely black, missing meshes and textures. Unless there is another reason for this? As I said that is the only explanation I was able to find.

Well the thing that confuses me is that the only helmet I've noticed this on is the Steel Plate Helm, which is vanilla. I use CBBE body.

Sorry then I have no idea why it is happening, I found 1 post here from 2013 that referenced this problem and that was all I could find on Bing or Google.

Someone just told me that the black neck i'm looking at is the fabric part of the skin...so I went somewhere else in game with bright light and facedesk'd....yeah...so it was me being dumb xD

LOL, nice. That is much better than trying to figure out the alternative. I rarely use heavy armor so I haven't looked that close.
