Which horse is faster ?
Shadowmere or Arvak ?

I think they both have the same speed. Only Frost is faster

Frost is the fastest, Shadowmere and Arvak are invincible arent they?

Arvak is summoned and stays with you for 60 secs and and can be forever. Shadowmere can die but will respawn at the initial point in front of the DB entrance in 10 days.

Arvak is exactly the same statistically as a stables horse, low level, low stamina, and speed.

Shadowmere is a statistically better horse as is Frost.

Arvak, Frost and Shadowmeres speed stat are all 100, but Shadowmere and Frost have more Stamina to run for longer because of their higher level.

The mod Convenient Horses doesn't seem to alter Arvak's stamina, but does increase his running speed although with his unmoddable stamina he tires very quickly.

For some reason as far as I can tell, you can't increase his stamina using any mod that alters his stamina or stamina offset as it has no effect on Arvak ingame. I did find a work around though.

Arvak is resummonable, so his life doesn't matter.
Since nothing but running Shadowmere off a mountainside can kill him, I personally say he's invulnerable. But, "you say toe-may-toe. I say toe-mah-toe."

Since nothing but running Shadowmere off a mountainside can kill him, I personally say he's invulnerable. But, "you say toe-may-toe. I say toe-mah-toe."
(singing) let's call the whole thing off. lol. Believe it or not, I got him killed in one of those lovely skyrim moments on master when I was silmultaneously attacked by a bear, 3 vampires, and a dragon. If I remember correctly, I invented 2 new swear words that day as well. Miriam-Webster still hasn't given me credit, though.

Oh, I'm sure I shot him a couple of times in the mass confusion. God knows I killed Lydia enough when she wandered in the way (which is why I started parking her in whiterun where she can just sit and eat bread all day long).
