Why does Mod Organizer constantly say "not logged in"?
Just switched from NMM to MO, but I cannot for the life of me get it to log in.

Except I've already done that. http://www.pasteall.org/pic/show.php?id=95093

Still says "not logged in" at the top left. Is it just a superficial bug?

Check the Workarounds tab and make sure that MO emulates the current version of Nexus Mod Manager.

Edit: NMM: 0.60.16

AHH! where is MO installed? is it outside C\:programfiles(x86/64)? uac can get in the way and it seems some people had issues if they where using chrome browser if non of those perhaps a re install will fix it

I installed into the Skyrim folder and UAC has been set to "Never Notify" for eons.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\Mod Organizer

Now that you mention browsers can be part of the equation, think Waterfox might have something to do with it?

Changing my default browser from Waterfox to Firefox didn't seem to do anything.

Make sure that following setting is true in Firefox:

Tools > Applications > nxm
- Use ModOrganizer.exe

Okay, I've got it working and I'm downloading mods through MO after re-installing and switching to Firefox as my default. Weird, either I need to update Waterfox or MO is another one of those apps that doesn't like Waterfox. Battlefield 4's browser plug-ins are like this, too, completely freak out and reject Waterfox.

Thanks for the help guys.

Plenty of applications still have a probelms with 64bit browser. I don't know if this was the case right now, but it will take some time for applications to catch up.

How do I update the NMM Version, do I just type it in or have to download it?

i'm having the same problem it wont connect to my nexus account i've tried these steps but they haven't worked i need help

Must have an account with nexus, name and password.
Top of nexus page is tab to download NMM latest version, when downloaded, use same name and password as nexus and should be able to use it.
