Swap USKP for USLEEP?
Has USLEEP got something over the respective seperate patches, or is it just easier to use?

Just wondering if it's worth doing all the un/reinstalling for it or not.

I think they are basically the same thing, USLEEP is just available in one combined ESP. Unless you plan to start over, I am not sure it is safe to switch midgame. I could be wrong though.

i made the swap last night(had to manually alter a couple(2) of my mods in tesedit to make them use it ) and did not notice any problems with my save game so far

I am not sure about switching mid game, it should be ok (but no promises). The main thing is to make sure none of your mods require the USKP, at least until mod authors put out a USLEEP compatible version.

well I started a new game as for the benefit several esps less and the separate patches won't get updates anymore or so I heard. Yea and it has some ingame differences too in whiterun in the temple of kynareth you had a shrine for cleansing effects for every part now it's only 1 shrine. There was 1 mod that has a dependency (TES arena settlements) well I can live without.

Yes you can swap mid game

Yes you SHOULD swap. USLEEP provides several fixes for bugs introduced in conflicts between the DLCs that weren't previously fixable.

If your mod ONLY has the main USKP as a master, then you can select that mod in Wrye Bash and change the master to USLEEP.

If your mod has MULTIPLE USKPs, such as one or more of the DLC patches, as a master you can fix it in tes5edit if you know how (dont attempt this if you dont know what you are doing), or you must wait for the mod to update.

I approve. I used this USLEEP Master Swap Script to change Khajiit Speech - Complete Dialogue Overhaul from using USKP, UDGP, UHFP, and UDBP to just using USLEEP. It worked flawlessly

Also, as pointed out by Arthmoor, original patches will no longer receive any updates, so it's best to switch to USLEEP now, and not do it few months later in mid-game with hundreds of mods
