Any program to open .ESP files?

I cant find any program to open ESP files, and I need one to get the dual sheath redux mod.
Does anyone know where to snag one? The lack of my second weapon is starting to annoy me.

Why do you need to open the mod?
If you need the patch file for the mod to work then you just need to run the .jar that comes with the mod

The .jar file refuses to run without the .esp file for some reason. I've tried it repeatedly.

If you mean the main DSR esp then that comes from the download.
If the jar isn't detecting the main esp then thats a different issue, and no you dont need an esp program to do it.
You can find an answer to this problem on the DSR page in their FAQ or by googling for solutions others have come up with

Now it's giving me the error that it's missing two Masters. Skyrim.esm and Update.esm
I looked up how to fix it, and the page says the hotfix to patch that got rolled into the main download, which I have?

Missing the core files? Odd. Verify your game by going to your library, right clicking on skyrim, going to properties, and under the local files tab hit the button that says verify and see if that helps.

Is it possible the program is just failing to find the two Master files?

Nope. If they are in your data folder and intact it would find them. If it is failing it would fail on everything. the only other thing i know to suggest is to redownload it

DSR, not skyrim XD
If verify comes back all good (one file always fails, ignore it) then you have a good skyrim installation so no need to redownload it

... Nope, it's not. When I get in game, it tells me I need to activate the .esp file
It's telling me to run a Skyproc patch for it or something.

Aaaaand now it's giving me the missing masters thing. AGAIN.

go to the mod description page. it has written instructions plus a vid showing the installation and how to run the patcher. apparently you did not do this as you do not know about it.
