Barbas is stuck
So in the quest "A Daedra's Best Friend" the dog named Barbas leads you to where you need to go, but when he cut through helgan and came across a locked gate, which i opened for him, but he phased through the door as it opened and wound up atop the gate. Now he won't move or get down, plus he's immune to any kind of interaction so i can't push him down either.

UPDATED:
- Before initially posting this, i turned God mode on and tried various shouts, I found out that Barbas is able to be staggered by Yol, the fire shout, so i repeated that until he backed himself off the edge back onto the road.

reload a save. please tell me you have one not that long ago.

if you really really really want you could try this. make a save and keep it. click on him and get his id code while in the console
enable
disable

those might work.I might try this after that
pushactoraway <actor ID> <number>
Push an actor away in a random direction.
Example: pushactoraway 14 1337. Will push or launch your character in a random direction. If you enter negative amount, example: pushactoraway 0001A6B8 -200, will pull the selected actor to your character position.

of course if you went somewhere else and waited he might just reset on his own

You will need to find the ids and specifics. Glad your earlier save worked.

placeatme copy the NPC and has a high chance to brick the game if the NPC is unique. dont do this if you care about your game.

so... i noticed that the commands between elder scrolls and fallout are the same. so by that i would assume opening the console and clicking barbas(or any NPC that gets stuck) and typing in "MoveTo Player" would work as well WITHOUT copying the NPC to the new area (you have the original NPC) if someone can confirm this that would be lovely!

Command incase you didnt read: (after clicking on the NPC) MoveTo Player

yep that work. clicking the NPC directly does the same thing than "prid refID"
