Dawnguard - Vampire Lord won't bite me! Any help? [SOLVED]

I am nearly at the beginning of the Dawnguard quest and brought back the daughter of the Vampire Lord. He made me choose wether I want to become a vampire lord myself. I said that I want to become a vampire and after that the dialogue ends and I cant talk to him or even leave the castle.
Any ideas?

Glitch. Try reverting to save from before entering Castle Volkihar.

What's up with Vampiric Thirst?

Anything I should know about when starting my playthrough?

I am so pissed.. Even with the unofficial Patches installed the same f***ing bug appears. I tried starting from other savepoints, I tried console cheats and nothing helps really. The only option is maybe to start a complete new game, but I am not willing to give up my years old savegame for such bug crap.
Sorry, but it is sooo frustrating right now

Have you tried "setsatge" console command? Then console command yourself Vampire Lord?

So, I have found out a solution for my freezing Harkon problem. Maybe I can help people when they have the same Problem.

7. Typed "setstage DCL1VQ02 180" into console to skip quest Bloodline
8. To get vampire lord skills I let Serana bite me (instead of frozen Harkon)
9. Continued game and questline so far without problems

Sometimes you can't, sometimes glitches and errors are baked into your save the moment you start a new playthrough.

Propper fix (above is wrong Serana will get you to vampire lord but you will not have two quests for his essencial rings) SOLUTION Ok had this bug on PC i done conversation he turn in Vampire he wont bite i type in console setstage DLC1VQ02 40 then i speak to him he bite me..then i add in console setstage DLC1VQ02 180 to complete Blood line...and get option to speak with Gareti...all works like charm i hope it helps..
