Bandolier Bags and Pouches & Complete Crafting Overhaul MOD Question
I have Bandolier Bags and Pouches & Complete Crafting Overhaul installed. To craft or upgrade certain items, you need dyed leather. What's confusing about this is, black leather is sometimes listed as Black Dyed Leather (made from frostbite venom and leather) and sometimes listed as Dark Leather (made from leather and iron ore). Red leather is also sometimes listed as Red Leather ( made from leather and a creep cluster) and sometimes as Crimson Leather (human heart and leather) CCO says that it is completely integrated with BBP, yet there's this weird conflict which mades crafting confusing at times. Is there a way to merge Dark Leather and Black Dyed Leather into one item? Or the same from Red Leather and Crimson Leather? If not, is it possible to remove the requirements for coloured leather and jsut use normal leather instead?

There are multiple recipes for some items (I've used the example of the dark bandolier), some of which require Dark Leather and some of which require Black Dyed Leather. The meshes for the items are identical, but the weights and values change.

The one on the left, crafter with Black Dyed Leather, is more expensive and weighs less. However, it had an identical mesh and effect (ie. carrying capacity increased by 75 points) to the one on the right, crafted with Dark Leather.

I have tried setting the CCO MCM setting to 'SIMPLIFIED' and 'GENERIC', does not affect this.

The meshes are identical. The differences are that Crimson weighs 2 while red weighs 1, and that crimson is made at a forge while red is made at the tanning rack.

Dark vs. Black Dyed Leather for Reference: http://i.imgur.com/gjkIIr4.jpg
Same as the red leathers. Identical meshes, differences in weight and crafting recipes. One made at tanning track, the other at forge.

I'm just looking for a way to simply this crafting so that there is one type of reddish leather, one type of blackish leather, and only one variation of the dark bandolier (and by extension, large dark bandolier, dark bandolier with shoulder pad etc.) OR ALTERNATIVELY, a way too remove the whole 'coloured leathers' thing, and just stick to plain old generic brown leather but keep both mods.

We all are ... I've been following most of their responces ... They already have me switched to MO over NMM, Ear fulls on load order and patching... Now I'm using stacked modular profiles with about 75 Mods running, and learning the Creation Kit. Unfortunately I've gone from purely Vanilla, to near freezing to death scavaging for firewood after an unplanned swim with only a fur cloak, Sooo ... the side effects of all this knowledge is killing me. LOL Some of these mods are incredible. I can't believe I put well over 3400 hours into the game before I even installed the patches.

LOL, I know the feeling. I actually had no idea I was using Wrye Bash wrong. It is amazing how much better the looting is with a correct bashed patch.

Haven't Bashed yet ... but I'm not that complicated yet. Basically non of the mods I'm running are sharing leveled lists I guess. I've focused mostly on choosing which environmental and immersion enhancing mods for my next playthrough (Told ya I've been learning ;-)

Reread the CCOR page. Bandoliers needs to be installed but the plugin should not be activated. All CCOR needs is the resources (meshes and textures) from Bandoliers. The issue you are running into is multiple recipes because they are added by mods, but they should only be added by one. Also, make sure to select the bandoliers in CCOR's MCM menu.
