It's a thieves guild quest.

So if I get in there and get to the point of that quest, I will be able to handle him the Mold?

I'm interested becouse in another storyline I got stucked with a quest item for a quest that I already completed and coudnt remove the item from my inventory. So if there is a chance that I couldnt get rid of the mold I better load an earlyer save game before I took it.

If you start the quest with the mold, I think it skips the Pinewatch part. The best source of info will be one of the quest wiki's.

It's one of the restoring the thieves guild quests that takes place post-thieves guild, after doing 5 thieves guild jobs in Markarth. Once you get to that quest you can just tell him you have the mold.

It's always possible to get rid of such items using console commands, but being stuck with quest junk isn't that big a deal - despite showing a weight, they don't actually contribute towards your "total carried" stat.

Though more than one player has been fooled into thinking otherwise and started buffing their stamina unnecessarily in an attempt to compensate. The game doesn't make it clear, for who knows what reason.

What is the console command for removing items? And is it posible to remove a quest item? Also it is not the problem on the weight carry. I just dont like having a tons of junk in my inventory (thou I collect every single think that I find ^^)

1. Create a (non-quick) save (as you should before any console usage).

2. Get the item baseID. Open the console and type:

help "itemName"

You'll get a message with the baseID in brackets; for my game at least, "Endon's Silver Mold" is 001093E5.

3. Drop the item. Still in console, type:

player.drop <baseID> <amount>

For example, "player.drop 001093E5 1" should drop the mold near you, removing it from your inventory. You can later pick it up again, if you like.
