Marcurio Glitch?

I tried to hire Marcurio the other day, but all it did was take the 500 gold and he just sat there. I tried to talk with him, but all he did was say his lines for when you recruit him after letting him go. I have SKSE download through steam and about 30 mods, none of which conflict with each other, as far as I can tell.

I did it on a character for whom I deleted all of my saves.

Ok, then AFT does not have any bearing on this save. No need to reinstall it. :-)

But my current char had saves when I had aft. I play multiple characters at once

Then for this character you will probably need AFT. It is not a good idea to remove scripted mods mid play. Skyrim bakes scripts and other data from mods into the save file.

Yeah, wasn't really thinking straight, unfortunatly, aft also conflicts with another mod that I have

I will try disabling that mod, then installing aft and safely uninstalling it.
