DAWNSTAR HOUSE BUG
So whe i inish the mission about killing the giant the jarl allows me to buy the house (I remember that only allows you to buy it when you are thane so i think that's a bug). Anyways when I become thane he gaves me a follower which I cuold send to my house (I mean the building one) but I can't it dosen't appear that option. I know all the stuff about heartfire because this is not my first game so i think that's a bug but i don't know how to fix it.

Thanks.

He should go to your house automatically, seeing that he is set as it's hosecarl. Or, am I missing something here?

There isn't an option for telling him to be the person to maintenance my house that's the big issue and maybe the problem started when the jarl tolld me to buy the house beore beeing zane i don't know

I do not find any direct mention of this from UESP and I don't right now have time to search trough release notes, but do you either Unofficial HearthFire patch or USLEEP (latter recommended) installed in to your game? It made plenty of fixes for problems like this.

I don't have any of those patchs do you think I should install them?
Ilja Dec 13, 2015 @ 12:28pm
Yes. I have always read the release notes for them and I can warmly recommend using Unofficial Patches. If you have all DLCs (HF, Dragonborn and Dawnguard), then you only need the merged mod.

Just in case that this probelm is caused by broken master files, do this to check their integrity. Wheter it fixes your problem or not, I do recommend installing USLEEP any way.

I instlled the patch but It dosen't happen anything now even my game is half in english (i'm spanish so that's not good) and when i loaded the game I don't know why but i've learned some shouts.
Ilja Dec 13, 2015 @ 12:52pm
Interesting. I did not realize that you are playing in Spanish. USKP had Spanish translation, but current version of USLEEP does not seem to have one yet. They need someone to do translations for them.

Shouts may be those previously bugged. USLEEP does not add new shouts, but game may have found shout records from your character, after patch was installed.

So, adding USLEEP or validating master files with a cleared appcache did not fix this? The I have to admit that I am a bit of a loss. I will check trough UESPWiki again, in case I missed something.

I found this in the wiki: I discovered recently that despite building a small house on the land purchased in the Pale along with a garden, stable and animal pen, I am unable to hire a stewward for my house. The housecarl for the Pale, Gregor, whom I was going to choose, does not even have the option to be offered the post. However Rayya, the housecarl for Falkreath does have this option. The noticeable difference is that my home in Falkreath has the max number of possible additions on the house. Is the reason Gregor does not have the dialogue option because he does not have a bed in my home in the Pale and a steward would require one or is this a glitch on his character? Looking at the game data, the quest BYOHHouseStewardOffer checks, whether the variable numRoomsCompleted for the house is greater than 1 . The main hall and any extension wing count, but not the initial small house.

So the problem was sholved buildinga bed and that's was all but i think my game is bugged with the DLC, do you think I will have problems in the future?

I presumed that you had built the main house, without actually asking about it. My bad. :steamfacepalm:

If this was the only problem, then I don't think your game is bugged. USLEEP should take care of most bugs in the game.

If you do encounter bugs, then just ask. I promise to pay more attention next time. There are so many posts in this forum that I do not always remember what I have asked or answered and may presume wrong things.

In short: I may need a forum break soon. :steambored:
