Rarest Enchantment in the game.

I've been "power shopping" i.e quick save/punch/reload Glover for a Chaos weapon. And after about an hour, I've only seen Extreme Chaos.

Now, with maxed out Enchanting and a total of 6 perk points in Augmented Flames etc, you'll get a total of 189 Elemental Damage (with a Fortify Enchanting 29%), + what ever you add on top of that, which is pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome.

Question: is it even possible to get something with higher strength?

Probably but you won't get a different stronger version of chaos if you do, all weapons have the same exact enchant, they just have different strengths. You usually find the better stuff at higher level.

Probably but you won't get a different stronger version of chaos if you do, all weapons have the same exact enchant, they just have different strengths. You usually find the better stuff at higher level.

Well, I farmed last night with my level 100 Warrior and did not see anything with a higher strength.

I don't know how rare chaos is, aside from the Guaranteed Champions Cudgel is does seem to be a very rare enchant. So combined with the rarity of the enchantment and then the luck of finding it at the highest tier it must be pretty low.

I just found axe with a mere 15 points of damage on a level 50 character so there is still variance. I also played a game until level 78, didn't find a random pair of muffle boots the entire game.

Like most I like to collect and keep unique weapons and armor, so I have never disenchanted stuff like Champion's Cudgel.
And like previous I decided to go with a random weapon with 25 point Chaos Damage, detroy it and make more powerful weapons, which is pretty damn useful on Legendary.

Same here, I don't disenchant unique stuff either, especially because my chosen house has displays to a ton of unique items, Champion's Cudgel included.

And just in case you didn't know the unique effect chaos has on secondary enchants, if you add chaos to a weapon then add another enchant the second enchant will be much stronger than normal. You can get a weapon with over 100 health absorb or long duration paralysis or more elemental damage whatever you want.

Chaos is also 25% more powerful on a Stalhrim weapon.

In my over 3k hours of playtime i believe i found chaos like... twice? I like the looks of the champions cudgel to put in an item case so i just duplicate that one, disenchant it and call it a day.

I found it only once in 2000 hours, I don't spend enough time on Solsthiem looking for loot as by the time I make it there i'm usually set with what I have and have stopped looting most bodies. I also RP my characters and only one would use a Chaos weapon and I have not played him in quite awhile.
