Ice wraith remains

Why aren't they cleaning up from my game? I was exploring the mountains by solitude abd I killed a couple of Ice Wraith's but everytime I go there now there's these lil blue ice "puddles" for lack of a better term (basically their remains after being killed) and they stay there. I have the option to press "A" on my controller but nothing happen's I can't loot them or anything they seem to be glitched.

Will the game clear them up at some point?

I'm concerned because I heard that any ash piles/ice puddles that are left over and aren't properly unloaded can cause CTD's so I really don't want that to happen.

Yes the game will clean them. Most exteriors will reset after 10 in game days, unless you travel there before. This resets the clock.

Make sure you have the Unofficial Skyrim Patch and its DLC options if you have some of the DLCs, or the Unofficial Legendary Edition Patch if you have all the DLCs which fixes the issue with ash piles not despawning

It may clean up the puddles (I don't recall so I can't confirm), but the game doesn't delete ash piles, harvested nirn root, and so on.

Please get USLEEP. It will address the issue with ash piles and a multitude of other things.

I do have the unofficial patches. The latest version. I'm going to wait 10 days and see if it goes away :)

I remember one time I had to wait like 30 days for a dead body to disapear lol.

Yep after 30 game days all of skyrim is supposed to have totally reset. So you can wait that long to be sure ....or not kill anything so there won't be any puddles or bodies lying around anywhere. :D
