Map size skyrim vs fallout 4?
I enjoyed both games, skyrim more so. I was courious as to the map size differnce. It seems every website out there gives a differnt answer from fallout four being 4x bigger as well as a couple sites saying fallout 4 was 3 times smaller than skyrim. Did bethesda every come out with an official "how many square miles each game is exactly or not? It seems like skyrim is much bigger. It has so many larger cities compared to the one large city on fallout 4. skyrim also has quite a few smaller villages. I find myself speeding across the entire map so fast on fallout 4 but I find it MUCH slower even using roads to travel on skyrim. Like I said I enjoy both games just a random question.

In square miles Skyrim is the bigger map. Skyrim is (in square miles) roughly equivalent in size to US state of Texas. FO4 is nowhere near that size. Nirn is nowhere near as large as Earth. It's a small world. So it's continents are equally small. The entire continent of Tamriel is somewhat bigger than Australia.
