help with console commands for wife/follower Lydia

Aftermath:
She is in my house at breezehome right now with only two choices

- "I'm a Thane. What does that mean?"
- "what does a housecarl do?"

What happened:
She followed me and I tried to marry her using the amulet of Mara. Everything went smoothly until the wedding day, we exchanged our vows but I backed out at the last moment. She is in breezehome the next day and I was given two choices again, to try wedding her again or tell her I'm not serious at all. I chose the latter and she went missing. Then I tried the console command to place her in my home again and I wasn't able to have her to follow me.

Is anyone able to help?

Use a previous save, preferably just before you proposed.

I forgot to save, is there a working way to get Lydia working again?

I haven't moved onto the part where Whiterun is involved in a war because I haven't choose to take sides with Empire or Stormcloak. Should I do that instead and become a new thane after the new jarl or something?

placeatme command creates a copy rather than bringing the orignal to you. To bring the original Lydia to you, you should use moveto player. Resurrect revives a dead NPC, but I think a lot of scripts would still be broken.

Yes, if you use placeatme and Lydia is still alive then there will be 2 of her. The second one will not work the same as the original. Usually the follower scripts will not work correctly on the copy.

First you need to get rid of the copy. Click on her in the console and type in markfordelete
Hard save then exit. Go back in game and type in
player.moveto 000a2c94
This should move you to her.

Just click on her with the mouse. When you do an id will pop up top middle of the console
