Delvin Mallory has dissappeared.

So I was doing the Thieves guild sidequests and I started one of the jobs with Delvin. Easy enough, grab/mess with/whatever, complete, then go back to him. I finished thw quest and the quest marker is fine. Except when I go to the ragged flagon, the quest marker is hovering over thin air and Delvin is nowhere to be seen. I tried hitting the air, shouting at the ground, and all sorts of stuff to see if he'd glitch back but he's gone. I had only a handfull of simple mods when this happened so I'm not sure what to do.

Also, certain quest markers are failing to show up on my map or the world when i select them in my menu. Any ideas? I have all expansions (Just got DG and DB recently)

That should work for him. As for the other missing quest markers check on the island of Solsthiem (Dragonborn DLC). If you have not been there yet there is a boat at the Windhelm docks you can take, just talk to the captian.

Make sure he didn't go to the sleeping area as I have had that problem before. He goes to sleep and it is dark so you may not see him.

If you still can't find him use console and either teleport to him to see where he is

Only player moveto 1da41 worked. Unfortunately, it thinks Delvin is there (His quest marker is still there hovering. He seems to be invisible.

As for the other quest markers, they don't affect the expansions so much as the general gameplay and occasional sidequests. I was just informing you guys that i recently acquired those expansions and wondered if installing them later rather than all at once made any difference.

Did you try the enable command?

The reason I mentioned Solsthien is that it has locations on the list of randopm quest locations. Even if you have never been there quests can be assigned to it.

Is the enable command just typing in 'enable' then enter after already entering the previous stuff you told me to type in? Sorry, this is a first time dealing with the console. I did type in enable then pressed enter but it didn't seem to know what to do.

You must first put in the prid 0001da41 command to tell the console what to enable. these are the keystrokes to use.

Looks like some of the local quests that aren't located within expansions are the ones not showing up. I checked and they are not ones located in 'dragonborn' specific areas.

preemptive strike -a vampire quest. (already defeated vamp castle so dawnguard is back to normal) doesn't show me the house where i'm supposed to do this.

kill the bandit leader of rift watchtower- i did this already so the quest should have autocompleted when i was given it

report lainfars death to his family- doesn't show me where they are

also the quill of gemination, and speak to greta about going to temple of divines. Not sure if i finished these already. i know i did finish one of them, but it never went away

For the Liefnars one

There are two ways to begin this quest, and one of them breaks the quest. If you talk to Grosta and agree to help find her husband Leifnarr, the quest will activate stage 10 and then stage 20 once you find his corpse, allowing successful completion of the quest. But if you find the corpse first without talking to Grosta, the quest will activate stage 15, "Report Leifnarr's Death to his family", but no dialogue option will be added to Grosta to allow you to do so and there will be no map marker to tell you where to find her. There are a few workarounds:

PC Only This bug is fixed by version 1.0 of the Unofficial Skyrim Patch.

Enter SetStage E3EA5 20 into the console. This will set quest stage to "Find Leifnarr" and allow you to reactivate Leifnarr's corpse. You may then complete the quest normally.

Enter CompleteAllObjectives E3EA5 into the console. This forces the quest to be completed.

Killing Grosta will fail the quest and thus remove it from your journal.

For the Vald Debt one (Quill of Germination) go into the console and type in sqo A list will appear use <page up> / <page down> to scroll through the results and list here exactly what it says about this quest. Vald's Debt the id is FreeformValdDebt but you should not need it as this is a human friendly set of information.
