Do I need to put it into the skyrim instalation folder and have NMM manage it from there? Currently all my downloaded mods(including FNIS) are in a folder on my desktop for ease of finding them.
And what part of the instalation folder should I put it in.

FNIS need to be installed into skyrim/data/tools.
Make sure you tick the boxes in FNIS if you have those patches.

FNIS doesn't necesarily have to be in the Skyrim folder if you're using Mod Organizer.
You just have to run FNIS From inside mod organizer, it doesnt look like you're using NMM because of this line ( Generator: C:\Program Files (x86)\Mod Organizer\mods\FNIS Behavior\FNIS Behavior 6.0.2\Data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users\GenerateFNISforUsers.exe )

Where you launch the game in mod organizer click the dropdown menu, select edit, click binary and browse to GenerateFNISforUsers.exe and select it, give it whatever name you desire and run it from within Mod Organizer.

Make sure you've only selected the patches you actually use, otherwise it'll bug out.

FNIS also has a tendancy to break inside the Program files folder, so if you can move your steam and mod folders outside of it, like to C:/folder or something.

Old save will crash, so start and save then exit, start again and see what happens
at start of thread, there is no mention of Mod Organizer, as other post.

kinda late for that tho i already uninstalled the game and am getting a fresh install

only had a character that i used to test things so i didnt lose any actual game progess

Maybe the best but didn't need to uninstall just deactivate mods and remove saves and start from new.
inc2000glw Nov 29, 2015 @ 10:58am
None of those files are in the location u guys pointed out...mines are on my desktop in a folder called Skyrim stuff. There's like 200 mod folders and files ...should I remove the unzipped folders to a flash drive or the entire folder?
