transfer saved games to a different profile?

My daughter has been playing Skyrim on my Steam account. I want to create her own account and buy her own license for Skyrim. Can we transfer her saved games, character info, etc to her own profile?

If you have two different "profiles" on your computer, then yes, if not, create a new user account on your system for her, she can then log in, install the steam client, download and run Skyrim, then once the relevant save folders have been created under her profile, copy over her saves, obviously if you are running a modded Skyrim, this will be a bit more tricky..!

For the same computer or other one?

- If same: it would be best to use Nexus Mod Manager or Mod Organizer to create separate profiles for both players and play from the same account.

- For other computer: Sure. Saves are in Documents > My Games > Skyrim. Copy them to USB drive and paste them to similar folder to another computer, once the game has been installed there.

You may wish to consider disabling Sync feature, if you are sharing any files. They can somtimes mess them up.
-> Steam client > Steam > Settings > Cloud > (First tickbox).

Yeah. This works too, but if you wish to use different mods with this setup, then that may indeed get tricky. NMM or MO will allow separate profiles. MO is more advanced in this matter, but has a wider learning curve.
