Also play the game the way you like most, and once you choose a path ie. warrior...archer..stealth-type, mage...make sure you stick to it for a while, because the world around you levels up as you level up, and if you spread your perks too much, it won't help you, especially in the begining.
Of course, nobody stops you from experimenting, but it will cost you later, if you don't specialize, in a certain "way of fighting".
Don't bother to spend perk points on crafting and social skills like..alchemy, enchanting, weaponsmithing, speech etc...those skill trees do provide nice bonuses, but it's a trap to invest in them early on.
Just go for either one-handed weapons or two-handed weapons, if you plan on using swords, go for only 1 type of armor..and also, bow works for every class.
Destruction tree is very underwhelmed in the beginning , don't expect you will be a tough mage if all you do is spend points in the destruction school..cause it won't.
Dude I was there, too.
Got the damn thing and then there was a /spoiler/ iron gate and killed me.
gg well played...
Is it the Fus ro dah thing?
Im looking for it!!
Yes.... yes ohh the memories :'(
Smacked the sh*t outta me
Guess my level is too low to stand all of the monsters in that cave.
Thanks :D
You just started the game? Is there a person named Ralof (the blonde guy in the cart with you at the beginning), or Hodvar (the guy who allows you to customise your character's race and appearance), with you? Either one of them is marked as "essential" at this point, which means that they won't die, and at this point in the game, they're both hard hitters, so allow them to take the brunt of enemy attacks. Also, if you see a multicolored pool on the ground, it's lamp oil, so igniting it with any fire spell will severely damage any enemy caught in it.
