How much health your character needed against anything in Skyrim?
starting with bandit and ending with Ebony warrior
For my oppinion you need 500 health to feel safe at any situation, so no one could 1-2 shots kill you at any difficulty (armour and enchatments are not taken in considuration)

That's kinda sucks, since mages and rangers are aimboters. And helmets should have protected you from headshots. Well I'm not gonna put this mod in my skyrim!

Against Ebony Warrior, you really just need a few strong Potions of Paralyze and then kill the poor chap off. He is not immune to poison. He just has a very high (50%) resitance against them.

Or, stunlock him with spells and be done with it, with 100 points off health you got.

Or use Invisibility, sneak behind him, cut his throat and move on.

Ebony Warrior was one of the easiest later level enemies that my first character encountering him ever had. He was a Nightblade type of character, so killing this guy was very easy for him. Just some amount of illusions and stealth and *schluch* it was over.

My later character encountered him with SkyRe and Enemy AI Overhaul. Stealth didn't work so well and she ended up getting killed several times, before she surroundered him with summoned creatures and manged to staggerlock him trough them. SkyRe stagger from spells is not 100%, like vanilla game does, so I had to cast summons several times to protect her.

If you want to be unkillable there are five perk trees you got to work on. Restoration, alteration, heavy armor, smithing, and enchanting. Level all these up and you can essential be unkillable. (but might not do good damage with anything since your perks didn't go into weapon perk trees.

I'm asking you a question, not asking for advices...
Here I repeat question again:...eh hem... How much health do you think your character needed for any situation in Skyrim? as final amount of health. No enchatments and no mods (Vanila Skyrim)

100. Really, without any enhancements, if you are good at using skills and spells of vanilla game.

If you have 700+ Health, I don't care what sitch you find yourself in. You aren't going to die. Anything less and there are highly unlikely, but still conceivable circumstances, where you have a reasonable chance of dying. For almost all NORMAL circumstances, 500+ should be enough.

EDIT: Spelling

IMHO,

100 health, 100 stamina, the rest in magic. The most overpowered build in the game.
100 health, 100 magic, the rest in stamina. Pure Assissin 2nd most op build in game.

Okay. I'll buy that. With Destruction's Impact perk and enough magicka you can perma-stunlock anything. But I can't get behind that 100 Magicka, 100 Health, the rest in stamina Pure Assassin. There are plenty of circumstances where sneak kills are impossible. Cannot be accomplished. For those circumstances you'd better either have some Illusion spells ready, or have higher health.

With high enough sneak all shots can be done without being found out, yes even the assissination at a certain wedding. The hard part is getting away, but patience and invisibilty potions will prevail. This is a bow and arrow only character.

"Marked for Death"-shout + Ebony Warrior = Sad Ebony Warrior.

Personally, i prefer something between 320 and 400 Health and the rest spread across Stamina or Magicka, depending on the playstyle.

Worked out well.

The thing about Skyrim leveling is, that there is no "Bad Build". You can make anything work, due to it's simplicity. If you're encountering something, that whoops you left and right, use alchemy and enchantments to tweak your character accordingly.

To answer the OPs question, I find that by the time I get above about 350 health I stop worrying about it, but I have gotten in trouble and had to resort to potions even then ... it really depends on how difficult you make the game, and your play style. If you walk straight into a fight 500 may not be enough, if you prefer stealth attacks it's way more than you need.

Oh I thought I would just add there is a extremely simple build but if you stay dedicated to it... it can be come WAAAY overpowered. Its the glaidator build. All you got to do is put points into health and do the smithing, onehanded, and the rest is up to you. Then just keep making one handed and smithing legendary so you can keep leveling them up and get more points in health and be unstoppable. Here is video to help you out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AqPdSRfgGJs

I'm close combat figther and I can't relly on bow too much. Many times it fails me when I get spotted or fightng against big group of enemies. And nah I'm not a stealth guy, I'm more exicited in duels and in intence battles.

Then I agree with you that 500 is not complete overkill ... however for your play style you don't want to sacrifice stamina either or you can find yourself barely able to lift a sword just when you thought you were going to survive a "good one" Don't discount the crafting either, it can give you just enough of an edge to survive. I think just about all of my "best" fights end up with my heart pounding. (Then I notice that my health indicator is a little red dot ;-)
