aetherial crown patch ??

good day everyone, so i finally got my crown for my assa/illusion hybrid and tried to activate two stones (that one that increases all skills by 15% and the other for sneak 20%+)
the crown is nearly useless since i can only activate one stone at once instead of two, why didnt bethesda update the crown-description T__T

btw, google says a "console" crown doesnt work, is this right ?

The crown should work as long as you are wearing it, however, yes, if you didn't obtain it by completing the Lost to the Ages quest and picking the crown to craft as your reward, it may well not work as the game probably doesn't recognise you having it. Generally speaking, it's a bad idea to give yourself quest reward gear through the console, as the game may not properly recognise it.

The standard procedure for the crown is...

activate the stone you want in the crown but *dont* wield the crown
activate the stone you want on your char while wielding the crown

I assume you completed Lost to the ages.

The Aetherial Crown will not work if you obtain it through console.

To use it, you must complete the Lost to the Ages quest.

Obtain the standing stone you wish to store on the crown first with the crown un-equipped. Travel to a secondary stone, put on the crown and touch the stone and the previous stone will tranfer to the crown.

It is best to store the Lovers Stone on the Aetherial Crown, so you can unequip it before sleeping to receive a sleeping bonus.


With the Aetherial Crown you can actually use three standing stones using a glitch.

First obtain the Lovers Stone on your person with the Crown unequipped.

Travel to the guardian stones and set the Aetherial Crown as a favorite and hotkey it so you can quickly equip and unequip it.

Equip the Aetherial Crown and save your game.

Then touch one of the the guardian stones and quickly un-equip the Aetherial Crown using the hotkey or favorite menu and touch a second guardian stone. You must do it quickly.

If you do it right you will have 2 guardian stones and when you equip the Aetherial Crown you will have the Lovers Stone also. If you don't do it right reload your save and try again.

Be aware that using the glitch will make it impossible to remove one of the Guardian Stones without the use of console. The Warrior Stone is probably the most dominant stone when using the glitch.

When you touch other standing stones with the glitch active, it will replace only one of the Guardian Stones.

Had the Ritual Stone, completed the Lost Ages quest, obtained the crown. Activated the Serpent Stone. Lost the Ritual Stone and gained Serpent Stone power and did NOT keep Ritual Stone pwoer ...Crown NOT working. Tried with crown on and off cannot get Ritual Stone to bind to the crown at all.
