Cant see the hidden/detected icon?

Is there a popular mod that disables this?

I downloaded that "The Journey" mod pack and i cant figure out how to turn the hidden/ detected icon back on when im sneaking.

I presume this 'mod pack' still has the mods individually install, rather than smooshing them together? Load order would be helpful, in that case.

Okay, first off, you haven't run LOOT, have you? You need to do that. Next off, iHUD is a likely candidate, as it makes HUD changes, although 'out of the box' it only disables the always-on-ness of the crosshair, you should still see it when aiming a spell or bow, and you should see the sneak icon as normal by default. However, one of the many reasons not to use these 'mod packs' is that the person who compiles them often makes their own edits to the mods, without really documenting what they've done, so you may well find that they've messed about with iHUD.

I really, really don't recommend using these packs, but at the very least you MUST make absolutely sure you are familiar with the mod description of EVERY mod you are installing, and check them for compatibility with each other, and make sure your load order is correct (run LOOT and check if any need manually moving). This won't protect you from the bit where they mess around editing stuff, but it will help avoid some issues at least. (Also, because we don't know what edits the person who nicked all those mods and stuffed them into one download without permission of the actual people who made the mods did, it's extremely difficult for any of us to give useful help if you're using it.)

I am also rather alarmed at the generic titled 'merged' .esp files in that list, presumably the person who compiled/stole the mods just kinda bashed god knows what together??? Honestly, I would STRONGLY recommend you remove these mods, revert to a vanilla Skyrim, make your own mod choices, and start a new game, according to more reliable modding practices (e.g. don't load a million mods all at once if you're doing the vanilla start...Although I think I saw ASLAL in there somewhere, which does make it relatively safe to start with most of you rmods active.)

This pack isa ctually very well documented and it specifically said to NOT use LOOT and use the load order that he provided.

Anyway, i'll mess around with stuff, everythin g is working so far, i just want my detection icon back. but whatevs. thanks for the help.

Troubleshooting support CANNOT be provided for this 'mod pack'. Not only is it FILLED with dangerous mods, the good mods it does have have been manually edited by the author of the pak to include dangerousn and unsupported edits. The mod files in that pack are NOT the stable version of those mods.

To top it all off, the 'mod pack' was put together without any permissions and is filled with stolen files, and as such none of the original mod authors can support it either because they don't know what parts of their work are in there because it was all done without permission.

In short: It's not a stable 'mod pack'. If you want to use those mods, go download the OFFICIAL versions of them off the nexus and then maybe we can help you

whatever you salty ♥♥♥♥♥.. for real? the mod pack is fine.. nothing was stolen its all free content and he lists every mod and mentions the various mod developers... i haven't found a fix for the sneak icon yet myself but when i do ill post it for you dude.. don't run loot or boss or any of that ♥♥♥♥ it will break the mod and cause random and frequent CTD.. these dudes are throwing knifes in the dark at this dudes amazing work.. hours and hours hes put into this for us... dangerous mods? wtf get a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ life.. i'm running 60fps i tweaked some of the settings to make it run faster.. you also wanna go into the enblocal.ini in the skyrim folder and set the memory and video card to what your using.. will solve most CTD issues if any at all.. if u find what he changed to remove the stealth status icon please post the fix here bud.. i really dont understand why this mod pack is getting so much flak.. i wish more people would do this for all the bethesda games.. yeah hard to troubleshoot.. but if u cant ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ spend some time to figure it out yourself and poke around online and connect the dots... then you shouldn't be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with mods atall anyway... nuff said.... lol stolen.. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dumb the mods are free.. and that cant use without permission crap also only pertains to mods uploaded on the nexus.. there's not a scratch of illegal action or material happening here..
