Not getting any smithing xp

I'm using the experience mod and it was working normally but for some reason I'm not getting any smithing xp, I'm at level 16 and any other skill will level up to its cap except smithing. Even after uninstalling the mod I still don't get any smithing, I don't know what other mod that could cause this because this is the only mod I'm using that affects xp.

Unfortunately, removing the mod won't fix it, if the mod was causing the issue, as the data is baked into the save. Your only options would be to go back to a save made before you
installed that mod, or start a new game - and those are the only options. For full details on why removing mods is bad and does not fix things, see:

And, even if it was not the mod, you still cannot just unistall/diable it and then reinstall/enable on a later save - you would need to go back to the save made before you removed it and then reinstall/re-enable it (the reason for that is also explained in the above link).

It's just a plugin though and I didn't make any saves after having it uninstalled to see if it would fix the smithing problem.

Then you should be good to go. However, it can still be some other mod, as sometimes mods will change things that are unrelated to what the main point of the mod is. So, it would be good to post your sorted load order so people can see if they recognize any potentially troublesome mods. To post your load order, just click on the 3 vertical dots in the upper right corner of the LOOT screen, click on copy load order from the drop-down menu, and then paste in the reply box.

So nobody knows what's wrong? Not even trainers can get my skill to level up, the only thing that works is using console command and only the setav command not the advance one.

Try verifying the game files. See:

Try starting a new game without that mod (or roll back to a save made prior to having installed that mod - if there is one) - it may have changed something that is now baked into the save. If smithing now works than that was indeed the culprit and any save made with that mos installed is borked, as I explained in my first post,

Those are the easy first tests. If neither works, then you will need to go the whole troubleshooting route.

To troubleshoot your build, first, to test, turning off mods is not the way to go - any bad info may have been baked into the save. The way to test is to start off with a vanilla save (or a save that only has the mods you absolutely know are safe) - one made where the issues occur so it is easy to test - and then add in groups of mods till you find the one causing the issue - making a manual save each time so you can roll back when the issues occurs and zero in on the specific mod. And although that may be time consuming, often it is far better and quicker using that systematic approach than trying to guess willy-nilly which mod it is (unless one of us happens to spot a mod we know is a problem when you post a load order).

Second, once you do find which mod is causing the issue, and have removed it, you cannot continue using the same save, again due to how Skyrim bakes data into the save (and this data CANNOT be removed - despite what some may say). You must either go back to a save made prior to having installed the removed/disabled mod, or start a new game. There is no other option - unless the mod is one of the exceptions mentioned in the linked discussion of my first post.

Well I dunno what happened but i'm getting smithing xp again after giving Bulimund fire salts for his forge and got some training from him.
