Whats the fastest way to level up to level 78?

I need to be level 78 so I can fight a legendary dragon.

Level Illusion to 100, do the ritual spell quest, learn Harmony. Make the Skill legendary, and cast Harmony in a populated area, 15-100 in 2-3 casts. Repeat as needed.

You will need to eliminate, or at least greatly lower the cost to cast this spell as it requires over 1000 magicka to cast at skill level 15.

The fastest way would be cheating via console of course, but if that is not what you want:

Get the 'detect life' (Alteration) spell and some mana reg equipment (rings, trinkets, enchantments), to a point where you can cast it infinitely.

Go to a populated area, cast it and put something on the mouse button - then just wait, occasionally making alteration legendary to reset it to 15 ;)

Alteration isn't as fast as Illusion, but if you're going to go that route, add telekinesis alongside detect life, that will level the skill much more quickly then detect life alone.

Turns there is a better way. Get the infinite magicka ability cast it with telekinesis, while holding the object fast travel.

If you're going to use a glitch might as just well go for Console Commands, it's even faster.

Even faster is to just fast travel while holding something with telekinesis. Go about 3/4 or so of the way across Skyrim (could be less depending on skill xp increase buffs you have) and you'll level 15-100 instantly.

Even faster is to use the resto loop. Make two potions, a fortify health potion and a fortify smithing potion. Drink the smithing potion, improve a weapon, then pickpocket it onto an NPC. Make sure you're wearing armor, start a fight with them, drink the fortify health potion, then take two hits, one unblocked and one blocked. This will instantly level both your armor skill and your block to 100. Keep making the skills legendary and taking hits as needed to reach your desired level.
