Adopting multiple pets

So I currently have Meeko as my adopted pet and I also recently found a stray dog, I would like to have both of them as pets but as far as I can tell you can only have one. I've looked through the mod in the community and I can't find one which will allow me to adopt multiple pets. Does anyone know of a mod which can do this or of one being worked on?

Look up simple multiple followers on the Nexus, that's what I use.

This looks a lot better than Simple follower tweaks, I would suggest OP uses this one instead

Can someone run Simple Multiple Followers alongside EFF, or will it crash horribly?

Hello. Sorry for resurrecting this but, somebody knows something similar that works with Special Edition? I tried the Simple Multiple Follower (that allows multiple pets) but it doesn't works with SE. Thanks in advance.

Special edition requires new mods, your best bet is to look for similar search terms in the workshop

Yeh, I know, and maybe I didn't searched well but I already did it with no luck neither. I wouldn't be searching help with this in particular particular if I did found something similar thing. If you or somedy else knows a similar mod or solution this is very welcome.
