Hearthfire DLC Wife moved, children didn't.

Hey guys. Just downloaded the Hearthfire DLC today. Moved my family from Whiterun after already creating children's beds and chests. My wife moved but my two kids stayed behind at our home in Whiterun. Yes I've waited several in game days. Nothing.

Any advice on how to fix this issue? It's really bumming me out.

Most parents would jump for joy when their kids moved out LOL, but in all seriousness try reloading a previous save before the problem accured.

Haha. Yeah, you'd think I'd be estatic. Sadly, I already tried to reload saves, nothing. I'm trying ot move them to my custom house (Lakeview Manor) I put a lot of time into making it "kid friendly" so if I don't fix this bug I feel like I would have wasted a lot of time. :/

if possible, move to another home first. see if that fixes things

I'll try that too. I'll update once I've bought another home and attempted to move them into it.

I looked on a few forums and someone post this that help fix there child moving problem "Finally, I fixed it! Turns out as well as 2 child's beds and 2 child's chests, I needed to make 2 small wardrobes and 2 shelves, (Don't ask me why, it's weird). But thanks for all the help :)!
