Can I kill a dragon as a Werewolf?
I'm at the quest where I go with Delphine from the Sleeping Giant to kill a dragon. All I want to ask, is if it is possible and maybe easier to kill a dragon in the form of a werewolf.

No you can't. Well actually you can, hell I just did it a few days ago. It's just that Delphine doesn't like werewolves.

probably not the best idea don't know how delphine reacts on the werewolf thing.

Pretty much all AI goes hostile when you turn werewolf. Well not all, there are exceptions and Delphine is not one of them.

The funny thing is that followers are completely unbothered.

Delphine isn't a follower. She's part of an organisation that was supposed to serve you but she insist on bossing you around. Plus your followers has seen you do stranger things; you turning werewolf is probably a good day for them.

So I can't just because it's her, but, if I was all alone, like the one who appears outside a fortress; is my power nough to kill him and my health enough to survive?

that also depend on the difficulty setting and how good a player you are ...

The difficulty will be gettng it on the ground. Werewolves have no ranged attacks so you need a way to ground the dragon. The most common way is to fill it woth arrows - of course, by then its almost dead anyway.

Otherwise you'll just run around being attacked by a flying dragon that will just pissyou the ♥♥♥♥ off by landing off in the distance and staying on the ground until *juuuuuuuust* before you manage to run all the way over to it. Then it'll fly back to where you ran off from and land there.

Why do they do that? Because ♥♥♥♥ you, that's why.

IMO, it'll take longer to kill the thing because you'll not be able to reach the bastard to hit it most of the time.

What Incunabulum said. You can literally shred dragons apart... if they land. So you need to know how to take cover and fight in places where dragons can land.

If you use Deadly Dragons or Dragon Combat Overhaul(or both like me if you're a crazy person), DO NOT ATTEMPT IT. The knockback/knockdown/stagger effect glitches the game when you get knocked down as a werewolf/werebear(moonlight tales mod ftw) and the only fix is reloading a previous save.

Other than that what others have said is pretty much the answer. Get it to the ground for long enough and you're golden.

I guess you know better, but I want to tell you that no matter, I always (well, two times since now) fight a dragon on the ground. He doesn't attack when flying, so I just wait for him to land, then hit him a few times, then I use "fus ro" (I have no idea when I will be learning "da") and then hit him some more times. Usually when he flies I use my heal to recover the damage I took.

You'll learn "Dah" further into the main quest when you bring back the horn of Jurgen Windcaller.

Damn, I could have done this before starting the quest with the dragon, so it would be easier to kill him. Anyways, thanks for the answers. I'll finish the quest later today. I guess you'll know if I have any problems :P

You just need to be in a place, where the dragon has space to land. Besides that, you can own any dragon and have no problems with him flying.

I only killed 1 dragon so far, in a werewolf form, and was because I was running around and he came out of knowhere.

I killed over 26 dragons in my latest save, and never grabbed the bow a single time to slay them, since like I said, they spend most of the time on the ground.

Not really, sometimes you get unlucky or are fighting in a place where the dragon prefers to perch somewhere instead of the dirt.

But yeah, the few occassions where I've killed dragons as a werewolf was when I was running around and a dragon wanted to have a discussion with me.
