Male walk for females mod?
While i have played both genders i find myself turned off by the ridiculous level of "MANLINESS" the male bodies have in skyrim, no matter how you mod it they end up ripped, shiny, muscular or extremely fat but still muscular and in no way reflect anything normal for anyone but the most physically advanced characters and body types. So after failing to find a better male bodies mod that gave optional more realistic male bodies, i became pretty much stuck playing as solely females who on the other hand are unable to become even the tiniest bit ripped as far as i can see. I can live with not playing as an amazon godess with a 12pack or rippling biceps, but i have real trouble getting past my girly walk which is just so girly, beyond any real life example i have ever seen, dainty i guess is the word. So i was wondering if there was a mod to make me like lydia or the other tough girl npcs with a "male" walk. I have searched for awhile now to no avail and have no idea how that kind of mod would even work, so making it myself is just beyond me, not that i didnt try lol...

Long story short, male walk mod for female player characters is what im after atm. I would be fine with switching the recognition of the gender entirely as it really doesnt matter in skyrim anyway which gender you are. Genderless walk mods or anything to give me a normal kind of movement are also fine, just want my dragonborn to look like an epic hero instead of a "model woman"

PS: skyrim is seriously sexist, not that its the worst example, just that it has a depressing level of gender specific gargabe ingrained into its thought process at creation, and mods have done little to remedy this, most just make it worse XD...

If no such mod exists, this then becomes a plead to any able modder to take it upon themselves to create it.

I would also like to mention that orc females get to have the male walk...obviously because someone thought "orcs are brutish" or something to that respect. Why couldnt they have just let us adjust our gait or choose a movement style when making the character...

Ok so i actually solved my problem, it was simple. It isnt a perfect solution and a mod would be preferable, but i can live with this over that damsel walk.

I used console command player.setrace orc to make my character into a strange half orc lookin thing, which will now require a huge roleplay explanation in my own little world, but i can work that out easy enough. I dont mind the pointy ears or anything, and she still looks the same when i have full armour on, but a better walk. without armour..well her chin is a bit bigger, but thats fine. In the end she just looks more even more brutish than i had planned. If anything she may be growing on me =D. I was already a breton, so being half orc isnt a big step in any direction.

This is quite funny actually, and quite ironic considering that the most downloaded mods are for female bodies that make them look like catwalk models.

I use a good mod to make my character run in a more feminin way. Not like a girly pixie anime character or anything, but more of a female look.

lol, talk about "running like a girl", makes you look even more ridiculous wearing anything but a skirt or pants, pants which mostly dont exist for girls in skyrim i might add.

My character has a full Nightengale armour set with a cape. So it looks pretty good.

"Get your cute ass back here theif!" or something to that effect i suppose. "cape swoosh"

Def not for the player wearing full orcish or daedric XD...Also, real girls where im from never run that way, do they where your from?

Oh my life, that's hilarious... Honestly, I'm not inclined to tell people to watch women doing stuff, because that's creepy, but seriously, that is not how women run. (Spoiler: 90% or more of the time, we don't walk like Skyrim women, either... That hip-swinging gets pretty uncomfortable after a few minutes, really only worth doing for show, and most of the time we're just trying to get from A to B.)

Not that the male vanilla run is much better. I guess bethesda and its modders grew up on baywatch and planet of the apes.

the women here run more like a "man" than me XD...usually followed by a tackle or some sort of king hit, rarely any other reason to run afterall.

I have to admit, I don't pay that close attention to how characters run, if they're running in front of me I'm usually too busy being irritated by the fact they run at a different pace to me (or walk, the walking's worse, though.)

I'd like to be able to play as a trans man, but sadly the only mods to do with trans stuff are fetish-y things and not remotely what I'm after.

Would certainly be helpful if they had more flexible genders, or atleast the basic 4.

People get wiered about gender though, so its one of those, make it yourself and label it adult things.

Yeah. Nice to see the latest edition of the D&D rulebook has said some pretty cool stuff about character gender, forget the exact details, but basically 'don't feel you have to be limited to binary genders' was the gist of it.

Maybe try Realistic Humanoid Movement?

*Keep in mind this is the only thing I could find related to what you were asking about, apologies if it is incorrect.
*Default female walk replaced with male walk
