I Cant start taking care of business...

I talk to Brynjolf after placing the ring in the pocket of Brand-Shei and it says ive completed the quest (a chance arrangement) he gives me 100 gold and tells me to go to the ragged flagon but it doesnt start the taking care of business quest as it should.....when i go to talk to him again he just says "hmm?" and walks away.... i need help guys i dunno what to do

Bonus info:
-I have been in the ragged flagon in the past to do some things for the dark brotherhood
-Its skyrim legendary edition (i have all the dlcs)
-I dont have any mods installed

A puzzle to me my friend but I always get the three shopkeepers and join the theives guild before going with the Amulet from Astrid. It sounds like your script and some of the script is just messed up. I would go back to an earlier save,

dammit i did the amulet quest like 12 hours ago so theres no save to go back to -.-

Shouldn't be causing an issue (which doesn't mean to say it isn't), I'm sure I had one character who did things that way round. First thing to try would be reloading your last save before you spoke to Brynjolf, there might just have been a slight glitch when you spoke to him. Have you tried making your way into the Ragged Flagon and seeing if Brynjolf is there? If that doesn't work, maybe try leaving Riften (I'd fast travel to Windhelm/Whiterun, myself, get well away), waiting ten game days for the cell to reset and going back in to see if it works.
