Crash in Lost Knife Cave

[Tripping Pug]

I have my charactor in Lost Knife Cave near the big chamber. So far the game has worked fine, but right at the part where I enter the chamber and start shooting people the game dies. It's not a crash as I know them, because there is no error message. Skyrim just shuts down instantly, returning me to the desktop. I have Windows 8.1, and I saw on the pinned mod/help thread that it has problems with some games, so I did what the page told me to do (run the thing in the comand prompt) to no avail. I also validated my game cache (failed to validate, then redownloaded) and restarted my computer. I don't have any mods but the DLCs, Bethesda Blunders, and a weapon mod I made myself, and I tried running the game with them all turned off. None of this worked.

I could just turn around and walk out, but I want to explore the cave, and if the game's glitching now, it might do it in some other cave too. Thanks for any help you can give.

I also installed the unofficial patch to try to rectify the problem, still no luck. I also tried restarting both Steam and my computer. It's realy starting to rustle my jimmies.

Edit: I Googled it. Tried a few fixes on there, including upping my VRAM and playing in windowed mode. Niether worked. Also tried uninstalling everything and turning off all mods and DLCs. Dito. Also, I tried to leave the cave. CTD.

Edit 2: Did some other stuff with help on the pinned mod/hep thread. To much to go through here.

I'm at a loss here. I realy have no idea what to do other than this.
