Bandit leader missing in Lost knife hideout

I have three mods which are unofficial legendary patch, no stripping fix, and stutter fix. The quest marker appears in the location he is suppose to be. The dungeon was not cleared before accepting the quest. The dungeon is still not cleared despite all npcs being dead. All npcs and loot were present minus the leader. Is there a way to fix either via console command or some other method? I have waited approximately 10 days in hopes of a reset.

what is the name of the quest? the solution may depend on the exact radiant quest you are doing.

It's a misc quest from Brunwulf I think. Also I've scoured the net for a solution before posting. Also I waited 30 days everything respawned. Still no bandit leader though.

Roam the cave again. Before you try any console commands. Try at night time, bandits sleep then. You can have missed some of the pathways in that cave.

wiki says there's only 2 bandit's, nothing about a leader.

I've roamed the cave for a few hours real time over and over still no leader. Trigger I think you have the quest confused possibly? There was atleast 10 or so between the cave and hideout together.

Yes I'm very sure. I haven't done anything from hearthfires except adopt kids.

Check the official wiki and unofficial patch pages on that location and see if they address the bug. If nothing comes up, you might need to use console to set that quest to completion. You will need to find the quest ID and the stage number for the complete quest.

so the quest marker points to the cave but does a quest marker point to an exact spot in the cave?
he may have clipped under the ground behind a wall. if there is a marker in the cave the use of tcl console command may allow you to find him outside the boundaries of the cave floor or wall.

Listen Trigger I have given the name of the quest. It is to kill the bandit leader of lost knife hideout. I also said that it is a misc quest from Brunwulf. I don't know what your problem is but you can take it elsewhere. You have been far from helpful considering your posts thus far.

I tried the tcl command and to no avail did I see him directly under the ground spot from which the marker is pointing. Perhaps he is further down?

I tried the tcl again at the location the quest marker is pointing unforunately he is not underneath the ground where it's pointing.
