How are you supposed to install a skin texture?
Is it possible to do it mid-game, since your character's already created? I'm having trouble getting mine to work (I also have No More Block Faces which has some conflicting files).

I've followed Iija's load order guide.

Yes, you can do it at anytime.

Thanks for the reply. Is there a reason mine doesn't work? Is it a conflict or something else?

if you're running say a CBBE body then it comes with it's own set of facial/body textures, install the base body first then your skin textures, making sure they're for the matching bodies, then the facial textures, for males i think there's only one, the files are located in D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\Data\Textures\actors\character it may require some playing around, as most people tend to run a combination of textures to get the right look

I have UNP, I think it has optional textures that I did not install.

Could it be conflicting with No More Blocky Faces?

possibly what problem are you having in particular ? i don't use no more blocky faces i've found Coverwomen to be the best http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/3563/?

Basically this skin texture I wanted to try does not work; the default skin still appears:
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35267/?

I looked at it in MO and according to the program, there are some files conflicting with No More Blocky Faces.
did you install Femalehead.nif from Enhanced Character Edit as Nif files have transperencies etc you may need to go in and manually delete NMBF from the texture folder

I've tried deactivating NMBF, is that what you mean or do I have to actually go to the MO folder and delete it?

Also I think I pasted the wrong mod, this is the one:
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/51602/?
you'll have to go in and manually delete it however be careful it's probably a better idea to move the folder to your desktop (copy/paste) just in case you delete something by accident, do you have SKSE ? as the mod author recommends this http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/51038/?

In the folder called "Mod Organizer"?
no all the body/face files are stored in D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\Data\Textures\actors\character\female and the tintmasks are in D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\Data\Textures\actors\character\bretonfemale etc that may be were your problem is as each race has a folder http://i.imgur.com/HoldUQV.jpg

Doesn't Mod Organizer load mods using its own folder/
yes however i use NMM to install mods and MM to give me errors, what is MM saying conflicts?
