How do I set NMM as my default download manager on the Nexus (after a brief stint having MO as the default)?
So I tried to use Mod Organizer for, but (and I know I will get lots of pushback about this) after spending most of the day trying to get it to work, I couldn't. Since I never had a problem with NMM, I want to revert to using it. But in the course of trying to use MO, I set MO as the default manager that the Nexus uses when I click "Download with manager". Now that I have uninstalled MO, the "Download with manager" button does nothing at all, and after searching high and low on the Nexus website and in NMM itself, I cannot find any way to make that button send a file to NMM. Am I missing something? Anyone have any ideas?
[And I know I ought to be using MO, but I have spent way too much time trying to make it work to no avail, and I would really rather be playing Skyrim, which I know I can do easily and stably with NMM.]

I don't know if this will work, but you could try deleting all cookies and clearing your internet cache of whichever browser you're using.

if you're on firefox, open settings and go to the general tab and there's a list of file types and what manages them, you can click a drop down and change it to vortex or m02 depending on what you use
