Found a Nordic Ruin with no name and no map marker!
South-west of the orc stronghold Largashbur up at the mountain top there is an old ruin...anyone else ever seen this place?

It's mentioned in the Unofficial Elder Scrolls Project wiki entry on Darklight Tower; there's a gate at the top of the Tower that leads to it.

I thought that was the only way to get there. Climbing the mountain from Largashbur... Dude! You must be part mountain goat!

No man...the ruin I found is not the Darklight Tower Dwemer ruin...the ruin I found is Nordic.

I know the Dwemer ruin called Rkund by Darklight Tower...the one I found is southwest of Largashbur not east.

Ok I just posted a screenshot of the ruin on my profile. And when I went back to the ruin the fastest way to get there IS through Darklight Tower...my apologies. When I found it I never went through the Darklight Tower...so i'm assuming the ruin I found is part of Darklight Tower? Or is it something else? It is on the mountain to the southwest of Largashbur though and not really part of the Darklight Tower...but maybe it is.

It's totally the ruin the Darklight Tower page is talking about:

If you take the path west from the gate, you will find the collapsed entrance to an unmarked Nordic barrow. A troll has taken up residence here and guards an unlocked chest and a couple of urns that can be looted.

On that note, I only recently noticed the unmarked imperial camp that shows up when you conquer Windhelm. It stays there after the battle, and you can continue to fire catapults at the city from it.

Yeah, not that special. There are lots of those that aren't associated with a place/dungeon. Like the one SE of Sleeping Tree Camp near Whiterun, with a puzzel that opens a grate to a chest.

Well I guess i'm back to exploring then. lol
