Dragonborn DLC, no cultists
I'm past the main quest line that u need to get the cultists to spawn, although they won't appear anywhere. I can craft bonemold armour in smithing and the boat is there although it won't allow me to travel solstheim anyway, because he won't reply. I have used console commands to teleport myself to Solstheim (coc dlc2ravenrock01), but then the game crashes. I have also used console commands to try and add the note to my inventory but it says the ID doesn't exist (something along those lines) and also adding cultists using console commands but that won't work. I have also turned the DLC off and on, but still nothing. So I was wondering if anyone had any ideas to fix this problem. Also the other DLC worked perfectly fine (dawnguard and hearthfire)

EDIT: DON'T WORRY THEY APPEARED, I THINK IT WAS JUST SOME CORRUPTED FILES THAT I FIXED

So you have been to the Greybeards, have they sent you off to retrieve the "Horn of Jorgan Windcaller"? Did you then go to back to Iverstad or did you fast travel off the mountain?

Yes I have done all that, I'm currently level 30 and transcribed the lexicon in the main quest line

The cultists spawn once. Once that happens, if you don't happen to find them, then they pretty much just hang around the area where they appeared until you do happen to spot them.

However long that takes.

You didn't mess with your uGridsToLoad setting, did you...?

Interesting that the captain won't take you to Raven Rock - he should do that at any time, whether you've killed the cultists or not. You can't take up the main quest there without the note, but even so.

For what little it's worth, last time the cultists attacked me was just to the west of Whiterun. One ran up the hill towards the city wall, and I didn't find him for... I dunno... months? It was ages after I encountered the cultists that I actually decided to go off and do the Dragonborn quest, but luckily I still remembered exactly where I encountered them.

In your game, they could be, well, most anywhere. UESP doesn't seem to have the specific IDs for the cultists you're interested in, best I can make out. I suggest simply running around the wilderness at random, sticking close to the roads.

If you don't know, then you probably haven't played with it. Consider it well that you haven't.

Don't do that, they can only spawn in cities. What was the first city you went to, after starting The Horn of Jurgen Windcaller? They also might have been killed by guards/civilians, so check for corpses too.

Where the heck did you get that idea from? I mean, sure, they may show up in cities, but I've only ever encountered them in the wilderness and random encounters seem much more common in the wilds in general.

... besides, odds are if they were in a city Brutaka would've spotted them ages ago.

Ladders, that info is wrong. Every time I have encountered the cultist there have been three, and I have encountered them in both cities and the wilderness.

On my last playthrough they were waiting for me in Iverstad as I came down from the mountain. I got the note from one of them but didn't start the quest right away and a couple of weeks later encountered another three on the road near Markarth.

Interesting. Maybe they SPAWN in the cities, then come after you.

I have only had 2 of them in cities, which is nice, because the guards easily dispose of them.

Have you made sure that it is installed and selected to load in the "data files" section (with the mods list) before you go into the actual game?

Ladders, a lot of stuff on wikia - in particular, elderscrolls.wikia - should be taken with a grain of salt. If you want any degree of accuracy, use UESP instead.

What is UESP? Because I don't want a ton of gay porn showing up (again...)
