Behold Shadowmere...
I've gone through every guide I could find on google about trying to make Shadowmere appear during the Dark Brotherhood questline and absolutely nothing is working. At this point I couldn't give a single damn about the stupid horse, I just want to move on with the quest. Is there any way to just skip this part of the quest and get to the next?

Exactly what part of the quest are you on? If you're uncertain, enter into console:

getstage DB07

Presumably you get 666, the number of the beast?

You've found his pool, yeah? What's that doing? Bubbling, or...?

Are you aware of the comments at the below two links?:

I've already tried everything on both the links provided.

As for the getstage thing, I get "GetStage >> 20.00".

And the pool is bubbling with the quest marker above it.

Huh, would've expected moveto to bring him out.

Save beforehand, and even if this seems to work keep the save around until you complete the whole dark brotherhood questline, but try:

setstage DB07 25

Alright, I'm working on that now. Thanks.

That fixed the issue. Thank you for helping.

There's a note somewhere suggesting that later, when there are some enemies during the pool during a certain quest (you'll know it when you get to it), he may well come out if you lure them over to it.

Tried that, didn't work either. I literally tried everything except what you suggested before. But I guess now that I've finished the quest I can just create a copy of Shadowmere.

If you hadn't advanced stages before, then no, you didn't reach the quest I'm referring to.

Personally I kill Shadowmere off after obtaining him. He respawns anyway, and it's annoying having him blow stealth where ever you go.

I lured as many soldiers as I could to the pond and that still didn't trigger Shadowmere. I'm just glad the DB quests finished without any other issues. I killed cicero and that guy that hired me to kill the Emperor because they're annoying.
