Is there a alternate start mod that works without the dlc.

Me being stubborn I did not buy the dlc so I was wondering if yall could help find me a alternate start mod?

Not the answer you were looking for but why don't you have the DLCs? They do go on sale fairly often, I know anyone who is a true fan of ES just buys them even at full price.

Well that is because I just wanted the base game at the time but soon realized how boring the intro is.

Just keep in mind that the main start is indeed disabled. You will have to decide when to release dragons to world from MCM. They do not appear otherwise. MCM is really simple to understand though.

If you wish, this allows you to do some things as "non Dragonborn" character, until you decide to become one. For example, I have once finished Civil War (Overhaul) with this alternate start mod, without any Dragonborn abilities. I moved to Main Questline directly after that, so that game could proceed naturally.

It was really fun to be just a grunt over the war and then start the righteous dragonborning after that. :)

Ditto for Skyrim Unbound. It will use DLCs if you have them, but they are not required.
