I keep dying...
So I went to the Halted Stream camp twice, 1rst to get mammouths tusk (went in, got it and left), 2nd to get Amren's sword...But this time I can go no furthur, the bandits are too damed strong and keep killing me though I'm leel 12-13. What the H***! Its worst if I put it on an easier difficulty level.

Put on an even easier difficulty level then.
How can it be worst?

Halted Stream Camp is a very good place to practise your Stealth and Archery skills.
Just a hint. :)

God mode? I prefer a little challenge then none at all, but I died more quickly when I lowered the diff level.

Did that on my first run, died at the same spot with or without stealth...

Does the game get more difficult once you've killed the first dragon or did part of a location without finishing it?

No, but enemies do scale to a point. If you have not practised enough combat skills, then the levelling may cause them to be quite strong.

Yeah, when I'm low level at that place i sneak around from a distance and take them out one by one with a bow.

That is what I thought...Guess I'll try other quests/locations for now... :steamfacepalm:

Amren's sword isn't in halted stream camp?

it can be, as it changes location with each game.

Indeed. But I'm inside, just after the first mine bandit guard, and three or four bandits (with a mage) come take me down no matter what I do...

First guy I deal with sneak attack. Sometimes I have to fight a bit. 3 others (a bandit chief, bandit and bandit mage) are quite easy, if you stay hidden.

- Move forward in Stealth mode. Shoot an arrow to bandit chief, when you see him. Then retreat up. They rarely come past the wooden wall, so it gives you a good place to hide. If you are fast enough, you can also try to go all the way up. Repeat and see your stealth and archery go up.

- Kill the chief first. He/she seems to have best skills to detect you. The lady bandit mage seems to be blind and deaf, but the other one can detect you more easily.

- Kill the second bandit next. He is tempering the weapon and you can shoot arrows from balcony. Reteat past the wooden wall. Without the chief, they don't even come that far.

- Then deal with the mage as you like. Use sneak attack with bow or one handed weapon, or just rush down and use power attacks to interrupt her spellcasting. Watch out for the oil on the floor: her spells can ignite it.

You can also shoot the oil lantern down and crisp the mage and ordinary bandit, and then you've only got to deal with the chief.

True, but may not happen in later levels, when bandits have more healt. The mage can also heal herself. It is a good way to damage the bandit with Poacher's Axe though.

Well, first you go to Snapleg and get paralyse staff. Sometimes Sam Guevene too, then you do Halted Stream no prob, except transmute takes forever. Legendary level no harder than lower levels. Then you head over to Solsteim and Benkongerike for Black Market, oh, forgot to mention Steed stone b4 all.
