How can it be worst?
kill the bandits and turn off the god mode
Just a hint. :)
God mode? I prefer a little challenge then none at all, but I died more quickly when I lowered the diff level.
Did that on my first run, died at the same spot with or without stealth...
Does the game get more difficult once you've killed the first dragon or did part of a location without finishing it?
it can be, as it changes location with each game.
First guy I deal with sneak attack. Sometimes I have to fight a bit. 3 others (a bandit chief, bandit and bandit mage) are quite easy, if you stay hidden.
- Move forward in Stealth mode. Shoot an arrow to bandit chief, when you see him. Then retreat up. They rarely come past the wooden wall, so it gives you a good place to hide. If you are fast enough, you can also try to go all the way up. Repeat and see your stealth and archery go up.
- Kill the chief first. He/she seems to have best skills to detect you. The lady bandit mage seems to be blind and deaf, but the other one can detect you more easily.
- Kill the second bandit next. He is tempering the weapon and you can shoot arrows from balcony. Reteat past the wooden wall. Without the chief, they don't even come that far.
- Then deal with the mage as you like. Use sneak attack with bow or one handed weapon, or just rush down and use power attacks to interrupt her spellcasting. Watch out for the oil on the floor: her spells can ignite it.
You can also shoot the oil lantern down and crisp the mage and ordinary bandit, and then you've only got to deal with the chief.
True, but may not happen in later levels, when bandits have more healt. The mage can also heal herself. It is a good way to damage the bandit with Poacher's Axe though.
