Windhelm CTD and Missing Bridge

Ok, so every time I fast travel to Windhelm or near the docks I CTD , I then go back outside at the stables and find that the bridge is missing with a big red exclamation mark in the middle and various objects floating in midair.

*I have verified my game cache

* I have tried opening it in the Creation Kit and it crashes that as well.

* I have also tried disabling a few mods that I though could have been causing the problem, but to no avail.

I was just wondering if anyone has any information on what might be causing this (likely a mod) and a possible fix.

I also found that by removing the mesh file for the bridge I go back in the game and it appears but I still CTD, I don't know if that's important.

I'm open to any suggestions

Have you run loot?
Seems like you are missing some textures and meshes.

And dont disable mods and play on it only gives you more problem.
When you did verify your files did you remove the files in HTTP catche first?

Yes I have run LOOT

And don't worry I made sure to keep my original saves intact when I disabled mods

I verified my files after I found the problem, it was the first thing I did, I didn't remove any files in my HTTP Cache, sorry I don't really know what that is.

The mods you have, have you tried to reinstall them?

When you remove the http then you force Steam to make new files for your games. It can take some time, but it is good to do first.

And no, I haven't tried reinstalling them, I was also thinking that maybe Static Mesh Improvement might be the problem, I seem to remember it starting sometime after I installed it.

Try to reinstall that one, perhaps there have been some error when you installed it.
One thing more you can try is to walk to Windhelm. Instead of fasttravel. And see what is happening.

The mark you have is similar to the one that comes from Fallout series. You should not have that in Skyrim, since Skyrim dont have that.

But don't Skyrim and Fallout both run on the same engine? I think it would be the same.

Unfortunately reinstalling SMIM did not work :/

Are you using Tamriel Reloaded or Better Dynamic Snow?

I once had a CTD problem with the Windhelm bridge because of a Tamriel Reloaded HD patch for SMIM that conflicted with Better Dynamic Snow.

Your problem looks worse though. You should try deactivating esp plugins a few at a time to isolate the problem.

I am using Better Dynamic Snow, however I'm not using Tamriel Reloaded HD, I'm using Skyrim HD - 2K Textures.

i figured since the issue was ctd in/around windhelm my post was relevant
