Try pressing the 'T' key. (time to wait)
I do not know what you mean by "faster" of course there is the waiting option in the game but people don't like that to much. I'd suggest maybe looking in the workshop/nexus for something that MIGHT instantly "wait" for you but im not even sure that is possible.
I didn't understand that but then again I am new to skyrim on PC. Is there any way to make the game instantly wait for you? (Like with mods or such?)
Ex: I insert wait 24 hours & in reality its like 2 or 3 seconds?

Faster than the "wait" command (as OutsidR said above, the "T" key)?
If so, then not really. Jeepers, waiting 24 hrs only takes 10 seconds or so...

Not aware of any mods, but a way to allow the wait menu to instantly count down is to enable the free camera.
Simply use "tfc" in the console to enable it, open your wait menu and wait for however long, and then disable the camera with "tfc" when you're ready to continue. You can wait as many times as you like while in the menu and with the free cam enabled.

I was under the impression that one hour was one second.

You certainly may be right, I've never actually measured it.

20 to 1 is default. 20 minutes Skyrim time to every 1 of hours. You can go down to 7 safely, below that can bug out some quests.
