Dimhollow Cavern button bug

Hi guys,

I got to the puzzle brazier room in Dimhollow Cavern, I pressed the button, the animation where I get my hand stabbed runs but nothing actually happens, no purple light coming out of the floor, the braziers won't budge.

If anyone has the same problem, I would appreciate it if they tell me how to solve this.

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Awakening in the bugs section at the bottom. read which may be an answer for you. Main suggestion was to use previous save first.... but save and reload if it presists.
